I agree with you 100% Eric, if you understand the concept of how a tool or effect works then you can apply it to any project but flashy tutorials lead you down a convulted path you won't remember and if you did you may never run across a situation again where it would be relevant, so thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Hi, I'm Eric Z Goodnight and I'm crazy about graphics. I'm a full time graphic artist and production wizard, using Photoshop to make big wheels turn, and teaching whenever I can.
I write a regular graphics column at How-To Geek, where I teach a variety of graphics techniques for a number of different programs. "Understanding Photoshop" is my attempt to teach Photoshop without all the glitz and flash of most largely useless Photoshop tutorials on the internet.
My philosophy is that Photoshop is complex, and that users are better served by how-to articles that explain and demystify, rather than by those on loud graphics with no real world application.
"Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace."
Hi eric! Is this the feature I would use to remove sun glare from my one year olds bald head?
ReplyDeleteActually, I would use the Healing brush tool or Clone Stamp Tool. You'd be doing something similar to the methods here:

This is very great. Those all tools really information to me. I would use the Healing brush tool or Clone Stamp Tool.
